Fear

There is no use in being afraid,
  for then what you fear
           will indeed come to pass.
       And the time you spent
              fearing this thing
will be wasted; should you learn
            to live above fear, to live
        without it,
   then fear itself will hold
               no power over you.

Like a monster in the dark,
        fear can be conquered.
     It is just a figment of your
                imagination,
           a product
                    of the mind.
